Best Under Hyped Indian Web series perfect for binge watching
Are you a fan of Indian Web series ?
Feeling Bored from watching the same set of shows on your favorite streaming Platforms and not sure of what to watch this weekend.
Here are some of my Recommendations of the all time best Indian Web series which are perfect for binge watching at Home :
- 1). Gullak
This is one gem of a web series by TVF.
As far as family comedy-dramas, Gullak is refreshingly hilarious and undoubtedly nostalgic. A five-episodes-long series, the show was like peeking through your childhood album and revisiting the incidents that made up our childhood.
2). What the Folk’s
It may be cliched, but it’s true – life after marriage changes. And What The Folks explores those changes with hilarious instances and emotional scenarios. What sets the show apart is the topics it takes upon, which are relevant for most married couples (and even single adults) living in India.
3). Pitchers
I occasionally review any shows or web series but i have to tell you this one is one of the best ever regardless of the language and genre. relatable, realistic and hilarious at times. It’s a perfect combination of comedy, drama. You will get to know about true relationships of all kinds, learn to make big choices in life and make sacrifices.
4). Ghoul
It’s very rare that an Indian horror series leaves you with moral questions – but Ghoul did exactly that. From a reverse character arc to an ambiguous future period, the show used extremely clever elements, and a fair share of folklore, to weave a story where the lines between redemption and revenge were effectively blurred.
5). Breathe
I Genuinely feel this one is quite underrated.
Most of us believe that when push comes to shove, we’d pick the right thing to do – until the time we’re actually facing a dire situation. With an extremely intriguing narrative, thriller Breathe explores exactly one such moral dilemma.
6). Asur
In the age of super hyped mediocre content, I get really excited when accidentally discover a genuinely well researched, gripping Indian series – Asur.
With themes of psychology, mystery, science, revenge, and thriller, there is a definite mythology subtext to be found here; every aspect of Asur welcome to your dark side fits together. this Masterpiece deserves all the rave reviews and eulogizing appreciation.
7). The Aam Aadmi Family
This is one of the most beautiful series by TVF. I accidentally ran past this one’s trailer, and started watching it. Ended up binge watching all the 3 seasons in the same night! Beautifully narrated, stomach-aching laughter, and an unexpected tears ending.
8). Panchayat
This one is a recent Creation by Tvf and Amazon Prime video. The plot is quite realistic and thus relatable. It successfully portrays the struggles that are common to most Millennial’s and gives an honest representation of Indian Village life.
